Who wants to bet they've moved him over to work on a Starcraft MMO?

I hope that their next MMO is starcraft gorfin i really do. Its their best IP i think, but like I was saying before, blizzard will not be releasing anything internally to directly compete with WoW , other than a WoW expansion,
for 3-5 years minimum..and probably closer to 5 knowin bliz.

well, who knows for sure right? I certainly don't think it'll be sooner than 2-3 years, but I'm not so sure about it being as long as 5. I'm thinkin 2 years before the next WoW expansion, then they'll probably go 1-2 years and release a starcraft MMO. Then they'll probably try to stagger the expansions to put out 1 a year in a rotating fashion, 1 year SC, 1 year WoW, etc... till wow's totally dead.

I know the Warhammer 40k MMO is gonna be out in a year or two, and it's being worked on by a different company than the one that did Warhammer. A much better company from my understanding, so maybe it won't suck so much.

Activision has hired a couple really high profile MMO ppl lately too, no doubt they're secretly going to be moved to whatever project they're puttin Kaplan on. But there's no doubt it'll be a couple years atleast before we get any sort of word on what they're doin.

I think the biggest thing going for warcraft and blizzard..is that really anybody "lost" to a new MMO/starcraft...isnt really lost at all. In fact they're still getting you to buy a new box and game..even if you play for a few months and decide to go back to WoW.

It's really win/win. I just hope that they dont use Diablo as their next MMO IP. I love diablo..one of my all time fav. PC games of all time...but seriously i think they're minin the fantasy farm dry if they are goin to another fantasy game offa warcraft.

Starcraft has potential to at least "feel" and "look" new..i dont think a diablo MMO does as warcraft has taken alot of things FROM D2.

oh god...i hadn't even considered that it'd be Diablo....i love the world and the story and all...but i really don't want to play a diablo mmo....i'll go back to playing EVE full time first...

I thought they said something about a new MMO connected to no previous ties before wrath came out. Like a month before.
