Raid Availability

Currently our guild is doing 3 different raids. We have 2 Karazhan groups that take place on Wednesday and Saturday, a Gruuls raid on friday, and we also have one group full clearing ZA. Yet there is still soooo much more end game content that this guild has yet to see, so its time for us to start moving up. We are looking into picking up another night during the week to do a 25 man, since the past few weeks we have had a pretty shitty turn-out for the Gruul's raid, or once we started gruul's people wanted to leave shortly after and we were unable to do another 25 man like The Eye, where we could easily kill at least Loot Reaver and get some free T5. Since most of us dont really need Karazhan anymore, except for it being an easy way to get badges, we are also looking at dropping one of those raids, and possibly trying to get another ZA group going. Sure Karazhan still has some nice loots, but it is SUPER easy to get gear that is the same quality (and in some cases better) than the loots out of Karazhan. PvPing for your gear is probably one of the easiest things you can do, and yet a lot of people are still not taking advantage of this. Also, running heroics is a great way to get gear, as the badge gear that was released with the 2.3 patch is about the same gear quality that you would find in eye/ssc. So there is no reason that people should be saying that they HAVE to go to kara in order to get gear. If we can get more people to do PvP/heroics we can easily drop Karazhan and possible Gruuls altogether and do the cooler end game raids.

So..back to the whole looking for another night to do a 25 man.
We need EVERYONE who wants to raid, to post on here what times you are available at night to raid, once we get people to post, we can look at getting another night for a 25man raid going.

Keep in mind that we most likely will not be able to get something that fits in with everyones scheduals perfectly, its almost impossible to do with the wide range that we have in this guild; between people that are still in school, others work till late at night, and even some that live in a completely different timezone *looks at Telarien/Sheep*

and talk to others in the guild, make sure everyone who wants to raid responds to this post.

I myself am available pretty much every night at around 9:30p.m.

work mon, fri, and sat night til 10ish. eat, sleep, and poop the rest of the time, so i dunno how i'll be able to fit into any of these 'raids'.

Wassup! LoL yep, my timezone makes it tough for me to do anything during the week except my dailies and whatever farming I feel like doing... I'm 14 hours ahead of server time here in Japan.

During the week, I am on around 3am - 4:30am then again from 7am - 9am

Weekends for me start at around 7am Friday (server time) to about 9am Sunday. During that time I can be flexible to an extent depending on how much my wife and kids harass me.

So far, Friday night and Saturday night (Server Time) are pretty perfect for me since they are daytime Saturday and Sunday for me :-)

I just have to say

Raid Gear > PvP Gear in a LOT of cases. It being better for one class/spec does not mean that it's true for everyone, we should keep that in mind.

Not all of us enjoy AFKing AVs and raping mage tables.

I can pretty much be available any evening/night for a raid, if it's scheduled odds are I'm probably gonna be there.

Sanka here. My raid schedule is pretty limited. I can go Fridays anytime after 8:00pm ish-1:00am ish. Saturdays i can raid from like 8:00pm ish till 12:00am ish (server time). I've got most all the pvp gear form honor so that wont help me much. Yes, it is nice but for pvp it really doesnt cut it. I liked rading kara w/ u guys on Saturday night but i can only stay till 12:00, so the farthest i get is maiden and none of those three bosses drop much for meh. i would love to go to ZA but i think my llimit right now is gruuls (gear wise). Hope we can get a schedule going around those times...Thnx for this forum i think it's a good idea. Hasta!

I am good to raid till about 11 on weekdays and about 3 on Fridays 1 on Saturdays And 11 on Sundays! If i have a Monday off i may get to stay up till later on Saturday. I'm pretty well geared i just need to keep doing heroics ALL the time. Ill be glad to tank for any of u all. I would LOVE an early raid even though I know it will probably not work!

My raid days vary from week to week, but i am available every night at like 7 or 8 till whenever, preferably not super late if i have work the next day, but doable if i have eay day following day...wed sunday being easiest
some days i do work later but not very often.

I should be fine with raid 24/7~ BUT i prefer Tue, Thur or sunday will fit my scheudle the best~

I agree with mostly everything jadano brought up..especially the getting loot out of raids part. It hastens progression greatly..and not just PvP gear ug. Yea for alot of class'...S1 glad gear for everything isnt mega dps..but a few pieces of that...and a few badge gear..and a few rep items..and heroic drops..and kara drops ect ect..and it takes alot of stress offa waiting for rolls offa raids..and ALLOWS you into the higher end raids...like ZA...sooner.

I also would like to throw the idea of an "EARLIER" weekend raid out there as no one has brought it up..and I hadnt really thought of it before myself. Such as a Sunday/saturday afternoon raid possibly? Short raids might work well for this..such as gruuls/mag or even ZA since we can polish any of those off in a few hours. Like 3pm sunday/saturday!?!? That would even mean that those still on could raid again later at 10PM when other guys get on...idk just tossing it out there guys.

I would love to do the other 25-mans! I would also love to do ZA but with my current computer, it isnt recommended. I have a sparatic schedule during the week but i have school so not super late raids. Good for super late on Saturdays but dont get home till around 12 server

. Also good for super late on Fridays but dont get home around 11:30 server. I'm gonna try to get Sat freed up or if there are major raids i need notice a few weeks in advance

Any night really from 9:30 server (6:30 PST) till were done! I've done SSC and TK so I have an understading of what it takes to do well there!

I did say it in my post and i WOULD love to have one that way my GOD DAMN Bedtime wont interfere with it! Am i a nobody now Matty T-T dont make me go all emo on u guys!

As I am back in school Mon, Tue, Wed are out. Thursday any time after 1pm server is good Fridays and Saturdays are possible although i do occasionally have to work till 10 pm server those days. I usually can play for 3-5 hours at work (the occasional interruption will happen as folks come in), so i may need to switch out with someone while i head from work to home usually takes less than 10 minutes to get home. a early Sunday raid would be awesome.
