1. Info on how to get keyed, and for those who need to be keyed to ask for help in doing so.

2. Schedules of our raid, as well as personal schedules of our weekly raiders.

3. Our current weekly raid lineup, as well as list of alternates.

~DoG's current Karazhan group info~

Currently we have 1 group running karazhan atm, once we get a few more regular healers I would like to start running a 2nd group as we now have the tanks and DPS to do so.

Karazhan is a 10 man raid, the first of the lvl 70 raids. You should be wearing strong lvl 70 blue items and what rep reward items you can get before thinking about running karazhan. Enemies hit about as hard as heroic instances dmg or harder, so its a good rule of thumb that if you can't tank/heal/ or top dps in a heroic instance that you are not ready for karazhan.

Our current group runs at 11 server time, once we have the members to do so we will start a 2nd group and it will be running at a different time than the current one.

Here are our current more or less locked in kara group atm and what spots we have available...currently we are running a 2 healer setup, that can change if needed which may take or open up a DPS spot as needed.

1-2(Tanks 2) Varmit (feral)/Repentia(prot pally)

3-4(Healers) Mattymoo(resto druid)/Timberwolfs (resto shaman)

5-7(CC DPS) Frith(shadowpriest)/Ugdar (hunter/ 1 open spot atm, need a shadowpriest here preferably but can use a 2nd hunter.

8-10(DPS) Jadano(arcanefiremage), pinkieand(ele shaman), OPEN DPS SPOT we usually use a warlock here but it could be most anything, but a warlock is needed on certain fights, so we are still looking for a regular guild lock.


CURRENT AVAILABLE SPOTS: Currently we have a opening for 1 CC/DPS, and 1 regular DPS that we usually fill with friends. For the CC/DPS a shadowpriest or hunter is needed, and for the DPS we would prefer a warlock , but can use anything that hits hard, but this spot may need to be swapped out for certain boss fights.

This is the setup of gear im currently working on. Its all enhancement based, if anyone wants to run the heroics let me know. Some are from karazhan, its not all sorted out in a specific way but its not hard to figure out.

heroic shadow labs - belt
heroic sethekk halls - bracers
heroic slave pens - neck
heroic underbog - ring


head - shade / prince / badges
shoulder - opera / arena
cloak - BG's / shade / badges
pants - heroic OHB
boots - heroic Bot / chess event
weapons - arena / prince

Heres a list of some things mattymoo needs from kara still..as well as from rep/heroics...

Maiden of Virtue- Mitts of the Treemender (if i dont get T4 token b4 them)
Shard of the Virtuous

Curator-T4 glove token

Illhoof- Stranglestaff

Nightbane- Stonebough Jerkin

Chess event- Forestlord Striders

Prince- Cloak of pure hearted...jade ring of the everliving...lights justice

Currently have all i need out of heroics for healing items, still runnin occasionally to finish off my feral tank gear with badges. Im also grinding CoT rep for the bracers and trinket.

This is the kara raid requirements for Sterling Order of Knights (SOK) a guild with some friends of mine are in on Elune server there are the requirements to even get to go to kara with the guild. I do not by any means propose such stringent standards but merely offer them as an example of what another raiding guild is statting for. I hope it helps

Here is our gear etc post tho from our forums..hope it helps! They may seem high, but with enchants and gems it's pretty easy to tweak. I meet them easily and I haven't been to most of the 5 man dungeons to upgrade gear other than what i can craft Happy



Required Add Ons:
Either oRA2 or CTRA
Either BigWigs, Deadly Boss Mod, or CTBossMod
SOKLootManager if you want loot.

Raid Balance:
Generally, raids are balanced in 1 of 2 ways depending on whether targets require 1 or 2 tanks:

Tanks: 2, Healers: 3, DPS: 5
Tanks: 1, Healers: 3, DPS: 6

Keep in mind that DPS include 1 Warlock, 1 Mage, and 1 Hunter for raid balance. Each raid will also generally have 1 melee DPS. In some situations we will make use a DPS/Healer Hybrid rather than all pure DPS.

Stacked Raids:
Stacked raids are used for content not yet on farm. Generally, a stacked raid uses toons above the gear mins and does not use normal attenance rules to determine who is on the roster. Class balance may be specifically weighted toward beating a given enocunter (such as stacking spell interupters for the shade).

Gear Minimums:
We are use stat mins as the minimum bar for Kara raids. All Kara raids will be first filled with toons meeting the mins. All mins are hard; you either meet them or you do not. We will not be trying to determine how much of 1 stat makes up for not enough of another.

vedian - soullink/ affl lock. now, my armor isnt the best since i havent doen heroics yet (i am sooooo close though), so i am not sure if that makes me a "leech." if so, just say the word and i understand. days that i can raid are almost any day, but time wise, best would prbly be around 7pm server time. thx for the consideration

hey this is yongary. just wanted to let everyone know that i am available to raid anytime b/t 8pm-2am (a little carryover is ok). so if we can get an alternate group goin in kara, then i am interested in helping. i can go almost any day of the week, aside from divine intervention.

i meet most of the gear parts for a warrior but ret pally is kinda diffrent but i think i am all most ready i can raid on the weekend would be best or real early server time

Stat wise I'm just about there 1100+ heal 135 mp5 6500hp/8500mp unbuffed...with 60-70 mostly blues...couple of greens s1 healer mace and no enchants yet....any suggestions before starting key quest? or should i wait till i get everything I can out of heroic/reg and some enchants before starting?

I didnt with jessa endela but im not a healer so it may be more critical that you have that stuff. The friend of mine i got this info from said she started kara meeting the reqs without heroics. As always your mileage may vary.

I definately want to replace a couple of my gear items (legs/wrists) and get a few enchants before starting...target number I've been seeing I'm at (with a well geared group while I build up kara drops) I'm at it...but with a couple of item replacements and a couple of enchants I should be at near 1300 +heal and 9k mana....which would probably make things a lot easier on me.
